UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Assistant Teacher, Lecturer, Principal, and Other Posts under Samagra Shiksha, a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS). Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the aforesaid posts in the prescribed format from 12 October 2020 onwards. A total of 493 Vacancies were reported for Assistant Teacher Posts out of which 278 vacancies are for Primary School Teachers and 207 vacancies are for Upper Primary School Teachers, 1 Post for Principal, 2 for Senior Lecturers, and 5 for Lecturers. Please note that the application is invited to engage Primary and Upper Primary School Teachers purely on Short Term Contract (STC) Basis for Government Schools on a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 22,000/- (Twenty Two Thousand Only) for Primary and Rs. 23,000/- (Twenty Three Thousand Only) for Upper Primary Schools.

Government Teacher Recruitment 2020 Eligibility Criteria

| Assistant Teacher (Primary School Teacher) | Senior Secondary (class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education); Graduation and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education; Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.).
Essential-Qualification: The candidate should have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Central government OR any State Govt. in India in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE tor the purpose.

Age limit
The age limit for the Government teacher recruitment 2020 as per the official notification is 30 years. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates and the candidates working with the UT Administration will be governed by current OMs of the Administration as well as of Gol.
How to apply for Government Teacher Recruitment 2020
- Application in the prescribed format (enclosed with official notification) with a copy of relevant documents should be mailed on the official Mail id of the Directorate of Education i.e. doe-dnh@nic.in latest by 2nd November 2020
- . A list of Eligible and Ineligible candidates will be published on the official website. The process of selection from amongst the Eligible Candidates will commence on 12th November 2020.
- Any changes (if any) shall be intimated through the official website i.e. www.dnh.nic.in and www.daman.nic.in be intimated separately.
- A single application for both the posts viz. Primary & Upper Primary School Teacher will not be entertained. Applicants need to apply separately for both the posts.
- Regarding the applications for Lecturer, Principal, and other posts should be submitted to the Office of the State Project Director (SSV Director of Education) by email diredu-dd@nic.in. Candidates can refer to the official website for the latest updates.
