Indian Airforce (IAF) has published the Group C recruitment notification. This is direct recruitment for 83 posts in Group ‘C’ civilian posts under the South Western Air Command. Candidates below 25 years with education qualifications matriculation to graduation can apply for these positions, by sending their application form to their desired Air Force station. Based on the applicant’s credentials, they will then invite for the written test and the skill tests as desired.

IAF Group C Recruitment 2021
The South Western Air Commandant of the Indian Air Force is inviting applications from eligible civilians to 83 vacant positions. The South Western Air Command is one of the five operational commands of the Indian Air Force with its operations sector including most of Rajasthan, through Gujarat and Saurashtra, as far south as Kutch and Pune. Interested and eligible applicants can now send their applications to their desired Air Force stations so that the same will reach the station on or before November 29, 2021.

- Age Limit: Candidates ages shall be between 18 years and 25 years. The age relaxation criteria for candidates belonging to various categories are:
- 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC/ST & 10 years for the candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped. (Additional 05 years in case of Physically Handicapped belonging to SC & ST and 03 years for OBC category)
- Ex-servicemen who have rendered not less than 06 months of continuous service in the Armed Forces shall be allowed to deduct the full period of such service from their actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the prescribed maximum age by more than three years, they shall be deemed to be within age limits.
- SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates applying for the unreserved posts are not entitled to any relaxation in age limit, experience etc.
- Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried are allowed age concession up to the age of 35 years (40 years for members of SCs/STs).
- 40 yrs for UR (General Candidates), 43 yrs for OBC & 45 yrs for SC/ST departmental candidates.

IAF Group C Selection Process 2021
After scrutinizing the applications, each AIr Force Station will make their own shortlist, and invite candidates to appear for the written test. The written test will be based on the minimum educational qualifications of their applied post. The test will consist of topics such as General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness and the question paper will be in English and Hindi. Based on their performance in the test, the candidates will be shortlisted and called for skill /practical/physical test wherever applicable.
