ICMR NIREH Recruitment 2021 – Notification Details

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF) & Field Laboratory Attendant (FLA)

Project 1: DHR-GIA Proposal: “Design and devilment of an ultrasensitive, label-free, non-invasive nano-bio sensors SANS for breast cancer risk – assessment in rural woman exposed to biomass fumes” (PI: Dr. P K Mishra, Scientist E) duration up to Feb 2024.

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project 2: SERB-ECR project, entitled “Development of aptamer-based sensing techniques for the detection of delta-aminolevulinic acid, a biomarker of effect in lead toxicity.” (PI: Dr. Rajesh Ahirwar, Scientist – B ) Duration: Upto December 2021.

Educational Qualifications

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Essential Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in basic sciences or graduate/post-graduate degree in the professional courses selected through any one of the following:

• Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test- CSIR, UGC NET, GATE, and equivalent examinations
• The selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, CUCET, AICTE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
• Minimum 2 years’ research experience (as of 18.03.2021).

Desirable Qualifications

Research experience preferred in the field of molecular biology, nano-biotechnology, or translational nano-sciences as evidenced by NCBI indexed publications.

Field Laboratory Attendant (FLA)

Essential Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Science subjects with 03 years degree in medical laboratory technology with minimum 03 years work experience in government organizations. Previous experience in the field of molecular biology.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Essential Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree in basic sciences or graduate/post-graduate degree in the professional courses selected through any one of the following:
• Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test CSIR, UGC NET, GATE, and equivalent examinations
• The selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, CUCET, AICTE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Research experience preferred in the field of molecular biology/biochemistry
