The candidates will first have to fill out the application form for the Kerala State Eligibility Test and then only they will be promoted to give the first paper in this entrance examination which will have questions related to general knowledge. The candidates will then be promoted to give the second paper which will have questions related to specific subjects that they have chosen. Kerala SET Exam Paper 1 Selection Procedure 2023
Paper one is the first entrance examination that the candidates will have to go through in this state eligibility test. Paper one will have questions related to general knowledge and aptitude in teaching. There will be 120 questions total present in this paper 1. The candidates will be provided two hours to complete paper one. 60 questions will come from the General knowledge subject and 60 questions will be available from the aptitude subject in paper 1. Paper 1 Exam Pattern
For Mathematics and Statistics, there shall be only 80 questions carrying 1.5 marks each. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. The exam pattern for the objective mode SET exam is:

Kerala SET Exam Paper 2 Selection Procedure 2023
Paper two will be conducted in 31 subjects for all of the candidates who are appearing for the Kerala State Eligibility Test. Both of the papers will be objective multiple-choice questions. There will be 120 questions in the paper two conducted by the authorities and 80 questions will be in mathematics and Statistics subjects. The maximum marks which will be provided in paper two will be 120 and the duration of paper 2 will be of 2 hours. The candidates will have to appear to give the paper for two entrance examinations and then they will be promoted to go to the interview stage which is the last stage of this entrance examination.
