MNRE Recruitment 2022 Salary
MNRE is a government organization and provides an attractive salary depending on the grade. The post of Scientist ‘E’ and Scientist ‘F’ belongs to Level 13 and Level 13A respectively in pay matrix as per 7th CPC.
The pay scale is as follows:
Scientist ‘E’ – Rs. 123100 to Rs. 215900
Scientist ‘F’ – Rs. 131100 to Rs. 216600
MNRE Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has set forth certain criteria regarding eligibility for the post of scientists. Only those who satisfy all these conditions will be considered for selection. Applications of candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected. Candidates are advised to go through the notification in detail to know the criteria.
Age Limit
The upper age limit of candidates applying for the post of Scientist ‘E’ should be 45 years and those applying for the post of Scientist ‘F’ should be 50 years old. The cut off date for age calculation will be the last date for receiving applications. Candidates belonging to Other Backward Caste (OBC) will be eligible for age relaxation as per the rules set by government of India.
Nationality
Only Indian nationals will be considered for the post.
Educational Qualification
Scientist ‘E’: Candidates should have a doctorate degree in Natural Science or Masters degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or institute.
Scientist ‘F’: Candidates should have a doctorate degree in Natural Science or Masters degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or institute.
Work Experience
Scientist ‘E’
Essential: Ten years experience in R&D, project management and policy regulation relevant to renewable energy such as solar, wind (including offshore), hydrogen etc.
Desirable: Experience in handling national and international programs in emerging areas of RE technology like battery storage, offshore wind, hydrogen etc.
Scientist ‘F’
Essential: Twelve years experience in R&D, project management and policy regulation relevant to renewable energy such as solar, wind (including offshore), hydrogen etc.
Desirable: Experience in handling national and international programs in emerging areas of RE technology like battery storage, offshore wind, hydrogen etc.

MNRE Recruitment 2022 Application Process
- Applicants should go through the official notification in detail and ensure that the meet all the criteria set by the Ministry.
- Eligible applicants can apply for the post through online mode only. Applications received through any other mode will be rejected. The applications should be submitted through the following portal – careermnre.nise.res.in
- Applications can be submitted for a period of 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar i.e. 17th April 2022.
- Applicants should have a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Those who want to apply for more than one post should have a separate email ID and password for applying.
- Candidates should upload all the required documents and certificates. The documents required are educational qualification, experience certificates, date of birth, disability (OH, PH), caste certificate, No Objection Certificate etc. in pdf format.
- Applicants should be extremely careful while filling in the details as the online application form is not editable after final submission.
- Upload scanned recent passport size photograph in .jpg format ( with file size limit between 10KB to 100KB ).
- Fill in all the particulars. Incomplete forms will be rejected.

The screening and selection process for the recruitment of scientists will be as prescribed by Central Government. Candidates will be selected through direct recruitment and the composition of the screening committee and assessment board will be decided by the Central Government.
