MPPSC AE Age Limit

Candidates applying for the post of assistant engineer exam conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission should have attained 21 years of age while applying for this exam. The applicant also must not have completed 4o years as on January 01, 2021. Age relaxations are also applicable according to the government norms that is mentioned below

MPPSC AE Educational Qualification

Candidates must adhere to the educational qualification specified by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission in order to successfully complete the application process. 

• Candidates applying for the post of assistant engineer must possess an engineering degree in their respective streams from a recognized board or university or from Associate Member of Institution of Engineer (AMIE), for boiler inspector posts candidates will have to possess an engineering degree in mechanical or automobile engineering.
• Assistant Engineer (Civil) : Must hold B.E / Btech or equivalent degree from a recognized board or university of India
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : The candidate must have 3 years experience in relevant field along with a degree in engineering from any recognized board or institution in India.
• Boiler Inspector Grade I : Candidates applying for this post must have completed their engineering graduation in mechanical/ power/ metallurgy/ production engineering from any recognized board or institution in India along with a experience of working in the relevant field for at least 3 years
• Boiler Inspector Grade II : Candidates applying for this post must have completed their engineering graduation in mechanical/ power/ metallurgy/ production engineering from any recognized board or institution in India along with experience of working in the relevant field for at least 2 years.

Candidates should also note that in order to apply for Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission Assistant engineer post he/ she must be a citizen of India.
