Eligibility Criteria for Director Post
The applicant shall have a Ph.D. degree with a first-class degree at Bachelor’s and Master’s level in Engineering or Technology. In the case of candidates who have obtained a Ph.D. directly after B.E. or B.Tech., they should have obtained 1st class at Bachelor’s level in Engineering or Technology. The candidate shall be an eminent person in his or her field of specialization with an outstanding academic record throughout. The candidate shall have a minimum of 15 years experience in Teaching or Industry or Research out of which 10 years must be at the level of Professor or above in a reputed educational Institute, Industry, Research Organisations.
Age Limit
The candidate shall be of 65 years of age as on 10 May 2021.
Salary
The pay scale is INR 2,10,000 plus a special allowance of INR 11,250 per month as applicable to the Vise-Chancellor of Central Universities as admissible under the rules.
