Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has conducted exam for the recruitment for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT). The result of the test will be released through the official website – www.navodaya.gov.in. The merit list will be based on the performance in computer based test and interview.

NVS TGT, PGT Results
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti will release the results of the computer based test a few days after the completion of the exam. The results will be available through the official website of NVS. Based on the performance in Computer Based Test and also keeping in view the number of vacancies, the candidates will be called for interview / Personal Interaction in the ratio as decided by NVS. Candidates are required to check the NVS website from time to time for updates. The final merit list will be prepared by taking into account the performance of the candidate in both the Computer Based Test and interview. However, the mode of selection will be the sole discretion of NVS and may change.
Download Result
Once the results are announced, candidates can check the results through the official website. The results can be downloaded and saved for future reference. The results will be based on the performance in the Computer Based Test. On this basis, candidates will be called for an interview. The list of candidates shortlisted for Interview will be displayed on NVS website. The list of short listed candidates for recruitment to all the posts will be displayed on the NVS website and no separate correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.

How to Download NVS TGT, PGT Result?
Follow the steps given below to download the result:
- Visit the official website of NVS – www.navodaya.gov.in.
- In the announcement section Click on the link for ‘Result of CBT for TGT and PGT’.
- Login using your credentials.
- A new window will appear displaying the results.
- Download the result and take a print out.

How to Raise Objection?
Response Query Management will be made operational on the NVS website after CBT is over for inviting comments / responses / objections, if any, from the candidates. Thereafter, objections will be referred to experts and key will be finalized by examination conducting agency for preparation of result. Objections, if any, will have to be submitted by candidates through online portal only within the specified period and objections received from other means like post, e-mail etc. will not be entertained.

NVS TGT, PGT Selection Process
The selection process will be in two stages: Computer Based Test (CBT) and Interview / Personal Interaction.
Written Test
The computer based test will be for a total of 150 marks. There will be negative marking for wrong answers; 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The test paper will be bilingual: Hindi and English. However, in case of TGTs the Language Competency Test in Part-VI will be conducted in Regional Language opted by the candidate. Further, for the post of TGT (Third Language), the medium of test for Part-V (Domain Knowledge) will be in concerned third language.
Interview
Based on the performance in the Computer Based Test, candidates will be shortlisted for Interview / Personal Interaction. The final selection will be based on the performance in both the stages.
