Odisha Civil Services Eligibility Criteria 2020:
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate must have the ability to speak/write/read Oria language with perfection.
- The age of the candidate should be between 21 years and 32 years.
- There will be an age relaxation of 5 years (upper limit) for reserved category candidates.
- Candidate must have successfully completed graduation or some other equivalent three years’ degree from the recognized institution.
OPSC Application Form 2020
The registration of the fresh candidates for the OPSC recruitment 2019 has been closed now. However, students who have already registered themselves at the official website of OPSC can pay the application fee by 16th December 2019. Below is the OPSC application fee, which is required to be paid in order to submit the application form and appear for the exam:

All candidates have to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable amount of ₹ 500 only.
Note– SC and STs of Odisha and persons with 40% disability are exempted from payment of this fee.

OPSC Exam Pattern 2020
Stages: It is a 3 stage exam, similar to the UPSC examination.
Stage 1
Preliminary exam: it consists of 2 papers of objective type(MCQ).
- Paper I- General Studies(200 marks)
Note– The merit list of students in the mains exam will be based on the marks obtained in the Paper I.
- Paper-II: consist of aptitude questions and is for 200. It is a qualifying paper and candidates have to score 33% in the Paper-II otherwise their Paper I will not be evaluated.
Note– The duration of each paper is of 2 hours.
Stage 2
Mains exam: consists of 5 compulsory papers and 4 optional papers(2 Optional Subjects)

Stage 3: Personality Test
All those candidates who qualify the mains examination will be invited for a personality test i.e. the interview. The personality test will be of 250 marks. The test will judge candidates’ mental alertness, clear and logical exposition, critical powers of assimilation, variety, and depth of interest, the ability for social cohesion and leadership and intellectual and moral integrity, the balance of judgment.
The final list of recommended candidates(Odisha Civil Services Examination) will be based on total marks obtained in the Mains examination and the personality test.

OPSC Selection Procedure 2020
- Candidate needs to go through Preliminary examination, Main Exam and lastly Interview assessment test.
- After the commencement of the Main Examination, the candidate will be invited for the interview round.
- Marks of the candidates scored in prelims and the Main exam will be calculated together for final selection.
