OPSC Medical Officer Exam Date 2021: Odisha Public Service Commission has rescheduled the Medical Officer (Group A) (Junior Branch) exam date. The Medical Officer post is under the Odisha Medical & Health Services Cadre under Health and Family Welfare Department. The computer-based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) will be now conducted on 28th April 2021(Wednesday) in view of the shutdown declared for the weekend days following the latest covid19 guidelines. Earlier the exam was scheduled for 25th April 2021(Sunday). Candidates can check all the details regarding the test and admit card release date.

OPSC Medical Officer Exam Date 2021
The OPSC Medical Officer- Assistant Surgeon examination has been scheduled to be held on 28th April 2021(Sunday). All the further details regarding the exam and admit card will be updated on the official website. Candidates stay tuned to Entri for all update notifications.
The examination will be held at Cuttack/ Bhubaneswar. Candidates note that the exam center- Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar has been shifted to Gandhi Institute for Technological Advancement, Bhubaneswar.

Medical Officer Admit Card
The admit card for the CBRE will be available to download from 23rd April 2021. Check the steps to download the admit card:
- Visit the official website of OPSC–@www.opsc.gov.in.
- The Medical Officer Admit Card link will be available on the Notifications page.
- Click on the link, ‘Download Admission Certificate to the Post of Medical Officer (Advt. No.09 of 2020-21)’
- Enter the User Name/ Application Number and password
- Click on the Login tab to view the hall ticket.
- Download the Medical Officer Admit Card and take a printout for further references.
- Candidates are advised to keep the admit card till the completion of the recruitment process.

OPSC Medical Officer: Selection Process & Written Exam Pattern
The recruitment process will have two phases:
Career Marking (30%)
Career Marking will be based on the marks secured in
- 10th class examination- 10%
- 12th class examination- 10%
- M.B.B.S examination- 10%
Written Tests (70%)
- Total marks will be out of 200.
- There will 200 questions which shall be Multiple choice based.
- There will be No Negative marking.
- The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
Qualifying Marks
- UR and SEBC- 50 %
- PwD- 45%
- SC and ST- 40%
