OSSC CGL 2022: Exam Date

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released a notice announcing the dates for the OSSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2022. As per the notice, the Combined Graduate Level Examination – Paper I and Paper II written examination shall be conducted across the state from October 11th, 2022 to October 17th, 2022. The announcement has been made through the official website, ossc.gov.in. Candidates who have registered for the exam are advised to check the website for details regarding the exam date.

OSSC CGL Exam Date 2022

OSSC is conducting a recruitment drive to fill up a total of 233 different Group-B State cadre posts or services relating to Odisha CGLE. The Commission has announced the dates for the CGL exam. The main exam was likely to be scheduled in the month of September but is now being conducted in October. It will be conducted from October 11th, 2022 to October 17th, 2022. The CGL mains will be a computer based recruitment examination (CBRE). According to the notice, the detailed program will be released shortly. Candidates 1.5 times of vacancies in order of merit category wise based on marks secured in the written test will be shortlisted for certificate verification. Eligible candidates will be appointed as initial appointees.

The Admit Card for the exam will be released a few days before the exam. The Commission will release it through the website and candidates should download the Admit Card and carry it with them for the exam.

Follow the steps given below to check the notice regarding the exam date:

1. Visit the official website – ossc.gov.in
2. Click on the link ‘Notice regarding Written examination (Paper-I & Paper-II) of Combined Graduate Level Examination 2021 to be held from 11.10.2022 to 17.10.2022’ to Advt. No.4301/OSSC dt.23.12.2021.’
3. The notice will get downloaded.

OSSC CGL Selection Process

Selection of the candidates will be done in two stages:

• Stage I: Written Examination
• Stage II: Certificate Verification

There shall be no Viva-Voce Test.

OSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2022

The written test will be conducted through CBRE mode and will consist of two papers for a total of 200 marks:

• Paper 1: Mathematics and Reasoning
• Paper 2: Composite paper(Odia, English, GK, Computer Knowledge)

Note: There will be multiple sittings of examination (CBRE) for which more than one question paper is required & Commission shall adopt standard normalization process.
