Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has decided to revise the examination schedule for the next couple of months. In the last published schedule, the OSSC scheduled the exams for various posts including Assistant Librarian and Junior Librarian-2017, Food Safety Officer-2019, Industrial Promotion Officer-2019, and Junior Assistant (GA Rent Department and OSSC). But due to the recent rise in Covid cases, the commission has decided to postpone all OSSC exam 2021 examination programme.

OSSC Exam 2021 Schedule Postponed
Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has decided to postpone the Assistant Librarian and Junior Librarian-2017, Food Safety Officer and others due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in the state. The commission in their recent notice said that they are postponing all exam programmes till the health circumstances in the state turn to normal.

- The Junior Assistant (GA Rent Department and OSSC), the preliminary examination will be for 100 marks with questions from General Awareness for 90 minutes duration.
- The Food Safety Officer exam has two parts: In Part 1, 100 questions will be asked from topics like General Studies, English, Mathematics, and Computer Applications. In Part II, candidates can expect 100 questions from Food Safety Act Rules and Chemistry. Both papers will be for 90 minutes duration each.
