Steps  to Download OSSTET Admit Card 2023?

Aspirants can start Downloading BSE Odisha OSSTET Admit Card 2023 from the official website. OSSTET Exam Date 2023 Admit Card Link is now active. Start Printing your OSSTET call letter By following the simple steps given below.

Step 1: Click on the official link of BSE.

Step 2: Click on Admit Card or Hall Ticket option on the website’s home page.

Step 3: The next page will appear on your device.

Step 4: On that page, you have to fill in all the details requested.

Step 5: After filling in the details your Admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Then you have to save and download it in the PDF format.

Please carry 2 printouts of the hall ticket for the exam.

OSSTET Exam Pattern 2023

There will be two papers and four sections in each paper as follow:

Section-I 

First Language, Odia shall be compulsory for all categories of posts.

Section – II 

Second Language, English shall be compulsory for all categories of posts. 

Section – III 

Under stream TGT (Arts) and TGT (Science for both PCM and CBZ) – the questions will apear in English. The questions in other streams like Classical Teacher (Sanskrit or Telgu or Urdu) and Hindi Teacher shall be in respective languages or scripts. The questions in this section for Paper-II (Category-II- Physical Education Teacher) will be in English.

Section-IV 

Child Development, Pedagogy, School Management and Evaluation shall be in English and Compulsory for both categories.

There shall be no negative marking.

Q1. Where can one get the details of the OSSTET exam center?

Ans. OSSTET exam center details will be provided on the admit card. Aspirants can check their admit card for the same. They can read the instructions which were given on the hall ticket.

Q2. Which board will release the Admit Card for OSSTET Exam?

Ans. Board of Secondary Education, Odisha is the designated board which conducts the entrance examination and releases the Odisha SSTET Admit cards on its official website on behalf of Govt of Odisha.

Q3. What is the pass mark for OSSTET?

Ans. Qualifying Marks  in each paper is 60%. An individual securing 60% or more in each paper will be considered to have qualified OSSTET.

Q4. How many times OSSTET is held in a year?

Ans. OSSTET is conducted only once a year. However, aspirants can take the test as many times as they like. The test  is of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration. The exam contains 150 questions, all in Multiple choice format.

Q5. What is paper 1 and 2 in OSSTET ?

Ans. There are two papers in the OSSTET , the paper I is for education teachers and paper II is for physical education teachers.
