Eligibility Criteria for PPSC Recruitment 2021
All the candidates who wish to apply for the latest PPSC recruitment to the post of Principal must fulfill the following eligibility criteria as set up by the conducting organization.
Nationality
- An Indian Citizen or
- Citizen of Nepal or
- Subject of Bhutan or
- Tibetan Refugee or
- People of Indian origin migrated from other countries.
Educational Qualification
- Must hold a Master’s Degree in Commerce or Engineering in any stream from a recognized university or institution:
(i) with minimum fifty per cent (50%) marks in the case of persons from General Category; and
(ii) with minimum forty-five per cent (45%) marks in the case of persons from the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes or Physically Handicapped category.
- Must hold a Degree of Bachelor of Education from a recognized university or institution except in case of persons holding the post of Vocational Masters or Vocational Lecturer or Computer Masters or Computer Faculty/ Teachers and Agriculture Masters.
- Must hold teaching experience for a minimum period of three years on the post of a teacher in any Government School under the control of the Director.
- Must be a Matric Pass or an equivalent.
Age Limit
All the candidates applying for the post of Principal under the Punjab Public Service Commission must adhere to the upper and lower age limits as set up by the commission. No candidate must be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 01-01-2021.

PPSC Salary Details 2021
As for the latest Group A principal vacancy, the expected initial pay is Rs. 56,100. However, during the probation period (3 years) no additional allowances will be given to the candidates besides the salary.
