Eligibility Criteria

Candidates belonging to the districts of North 24 Parganas, Nadia, Kolkata & Hooghly Districts of West Bengal will be given preference for enrolment for training.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical) : Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Production Engineering from a recognized university/ Institute approved
B.E/B.Tech (Electrical) : Four years Bachelor degree in (i) Electrical/Electronics & Power Engineering or (ii) Combination of any sub stream of Basics streams of Electrical from recognized university/ Institute approved by AICTE.
B.E/B.Tech Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Computer/ I.T.) : Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Telecommunication/Computer Science/ I.T. Engineering from a recognized university/ Institute approved by AICTE.
Diploma (Mechanical) : Full time regular Diploma in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Automobile / Production Engineering from university/ Institute recognized by AICTE.
Diploma (Electrical) : Full time regular Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics & Power Engineering or a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Electrical/Electronics from recognized University/ Institute.
Diploma (Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Computer/ I.T : Full time regular Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Telecommunication/ Computer recognized University/ Institute.

Note : No additional weightage will be given to the candidate who possesses higher qualification along with above minimum essential qualification. Candidates waiting for the results are not eligible to apply for the post.

Age Criteria

Minimum age of candidates must be : 18 years

Maximum age of candidates must be : 45 years

Medical Examination

Followed by the successful verification of the documents, the provisionally selected candidates will then be subjected for a thorough medical examination. Candidates will be intimated with Date, Time and Location of the physical test later.

A total of 53 seats will be filled through this recruitment drive. Following are the division of seats per qualification. Reservation to candidates belonging to OBC and SC is given in the table shown here.

Note : In case the prescribed number of persons belonging to the Schedule Castes (SC) is not available, it will be filled by Scheduled Tribes Candidates (ST). For Scheduled Tribes slots in case of Scheduled Tribes candidates are not available, they will be filled by Schedule Castes (SC) candidates.

Stipend Details

The salary details of successful candidates is shown below,

For Graduate Engineers : Rs.9000/- per month
For Diploma Holders : Rs.8000/- per month

Download the application form
Fill out all the information required
Submit the application form to the authority concerned.

Documents to be submitted along with the application

Following is the list of documents that are to be enclosed with the application form,

Self attested copies of certificate in proof of qualification (As per the qualification specified in instruction sheet).
Self attested of Proof of date of birth.
Self attested copy of Aadhar Card
Proof of Aadhar Linked Bank Account in the candidate’s own name.
Attested copy of cast certificate in the format required for Central Govt. Employment as enclosed (in case of SC/ST/OBC)
OBC- NCL (Non-creamy Layer) certificate issued by Tehsildar as per format indicated in the Annexure in the press notification.
Two self attested passport size photograph.
