Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) has released notification regarding recruitment for 183 posts under the Urban Primary Health Center. The vacancies are in various posts such as Medical Officer, Pharmacist, Lab Technician, Female Health Worker and Multi Purpose Health Worker. Interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria and apply for the desired post. The posting will be in Rajkot. RMC Recruitment 2022 Qualifications

Candidates applying for RMC vacancies should ensure that they have the qualifications required by RMC. Read on to know the qualifications required by each post.

Medical Officer: Candidates applying for the post of Medical Officer should have the following qualifications

• MBBS degree from any recognized university in India
• Should have knowledge in computer applications
• Should know Gujarati or Hindi or both
• Should be registered under Gujrat Medical Council Act 13

Lab Technician: Candidates applying for the post of Lab Technician should have the following qualifications

•  A degree in Chemistry or Microbiology or Biochemistry from any recognized university in India
• One year of  Medical Laboratory Technician training or Laboratory Technician training
• Knowledge in computer applications
• Should know Gujarati or Hindi or both
• Any one of the following

Diploma in Laboratory Technician

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician

Diploma in Medical Technology

Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology

Pharmacist: Candidates applying for the post of Pharmacist should have the following qualifications

• B. Pharm degree from any recognized university in India
• Experience as a junior pharmacist in a government institution
• Pharmacy Council of India/ Gujrat Pharmacy Council
• Knowledge in computer applications
• Should know Gujarati or Hindi or both

Female Health Worker: Candidates applying for the post of Female Health Worker should have the following qualification

• SSC passed
• Female Health Worker/ ANM from government recognized organization
• Knowledge in computer applications
• Should know Gujarati or Hindi or both

Multi Purpose Health Worker: Candidates applying for the post of Multi Purpose Health Worker should have the following qualification

• HSC passed
• One year course of Multi Purpose Health Worker from a government recognized institute
• Knowledge in computer applications
• Should know Gujarati or Hindi or both

RMC Recruitment 2022 Age Limit

The post wise age limit for general category is given below:

Medical Officer: 21 to 35 years

Lab Technician: 18 to 35 years

Pharmacist: 18 to 35 years

Female Health Worker: 18 to 34 years

Multi Purpose Health Worker: 18 to 34 years

RMC Recruitment 2022 Pay Scale

RMC provides its employees an attractive salary and incentives. The initial pay for each post is given below. It will be for a period of one year after which it can be increased based on their performance.

Medical Officer:  Rs. 46700

Lab Technician:  Rs. 31340

Pharmacist: Rs. 31340

Female Health Worker: Rs. 19950

Multi Purpose Health Worker: Rs. 19950
