The following subjects/departments have qualified applicants for the position of Constable (General Duty), according to the SSB. The remuneration will be in the range of Rs. 21700-69100/- (Level-3 as per the 7th CPC), in addition to other benefits.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age Required: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limits: 23 Years

• Educational and professional qualification certificates.
• Self attested copies of sports certificates/achievements.
• Birth certificate (Matriculation Certificate).
• Caste Certificate, if you belong to reserved category.
• Residence Certificate. Character Certificate.
• Copy of Experience Certificate. if any.
• Aadhar Card/ Any other ID Card.
• Two self attested passport size photographs.
• Demand Draft/IPO/Banker Cheque of Rs 100/-(Rupees fifty only) (Non­-Refundable).
• Two Self-addressed envelopes of 11.5 ems x 27.5 ems with postage stamps worth Rs 25/- (Rupees twenty five only) to be affixed on each envelope.
• Attach other necessary documents with the application form.

General Conditions and Instructions

• The envelope must have the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (GD) UNDER SPORTS QUOTA-2022____” clearly written on the top.
• Fill out the application completely on your own, in plain and capital characters. Application does not involve cutting or excessive harvesting.
• The candidate must fill out the application in either English or Hindi and sign it in his or her own handwriting. Any necessary corrections must be legible and signed by the candidate.
• Candidates shouldn’t apply more than once for the same position.
• Applications that are incomplete, erroneous, incorrectly filled out, overwritten, lack a signature, or lack an image will be rejected.
• Candidates’ eligibility will be revoked as soon as Sashastra Seema Bal becomes aware that they did not write their name, date of birth, father’s name, or mother’s name exactly as they appear on their matriculation certificate (SSB).

SSB Constable GD Recruitment 2022: Selection Process

• Shortlisting of Candidates
• Documentation
• Field Trial/ Skill Test
• Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

Documentation:

All candidates must go through documentation, during which they must present all original documents/certificates pertaining to their age, education, caste, and athletic accomplishments (state, national, and international), as well as evidence of their eligibility for age-related benefits, to the Recruitment Board. If they fail to do so, the candidate will be disqualified.

Field Trial/ Skill Test: 

Candidates who pass the documentation requirements must take the SSB constable general duty field trial and skill test. A 70-point field trial/skill test will be administered. 60% will serve as the standard cutoff for all candidates. The candidate’s performance in the field trial or skill test, along with the order of merit points, will be used to make the final decision.

Physical Standard Test (PST): 

All applicants who pass the field trial and skill test are required to take the physical standard test (PST), which is listed below.

• Height: 170 cms (Male) & 157 cms (Female)
• Chest: 80-85 cms (Male Only)
• Weight: Weight of the candidate should be proportionate to height and age as per detail notification.
