TNPSC Group 3 Selection Procedure
To land your job in the TNPSC Group 3 category, one must go through the three rounds of procedure, namely the preliminary exam, main exam, and the interview round. However, the written test will be OMR-based and descriptive. The interview is the oral test. The final merit list will be on the basis of the marks scored in the mains exam and the performance at the interview. Finally, the aspirants who qualify for all three rounds will be thereby called for identification and certificate verification by the officials.

TNPSC Group 3 Age Limit
The age limitations for various posts (as of July 1st of the year in which notified) and categories are as follows.

| Junior Inspector of Cooperative Societies (Group 3A) | 18 to 30 years for general.
Concessions: 18 to 35 years for SC or SC (Arunthathiyars), ST, Destitute Widows of all castes, Most Backward Classes/Denotified Communities, BC and BC (Muslims). 18 to 40 years for war service candidates who have undergone a course of training for nine months in one of the Cooperative Training Institute. 18 to 45 years for SC or SC (Arunthathiyars), ST war service candidates who have undergone a course of training for nine months in one of the Cooperative Training Institute. |
| Assistant Supervisor of Industrial Cooperative Societies (Group 3A) | 18 to 30 years for general.
No maximum age limit for all other categories. |

- Candidates not belonging to SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, and BC who have five years of experience in the state or central governments are not eligible for age concession.
- No maximum age limit means the candidate can be up to age 58 years old.
