Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission invited applications from eligible candidates for appointment by direct recruitment to the posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination-IV (Group-IV Services) 2018- 2019 and 2019–2020 as per Notification No.19/2019 dated 14.06.2019. The Written Examination was held on 01.09.2019 and the results published on 12.11.2019. The recent press release notified a change in the leftover counselling and CV of the various posts to the 8th and 9th of December, 2020 due to the Nivar cyclone. Read the article for details.

As per the latest notification, the counseling, and certificate verification scheduled on 25/11/2020 and 28/11/2020 is postponed to 08/12/2020 and 09/12/2020 due to the unforeseen occurrence of the Nivar cyclone that caused heavy rainfall, and chances of a deluge can’t be neglected in the state.

Due to the outbreak of COVID – 19, the Original Certificate Verification and Counselling for the posts of Typist and Steno Typist Grade III was postponed. Due to the relaxation of Lockdown, the Original Certificate Verification and Counselling for the post of Typist is scheduled to be held from 02.11.2020 and for the post of Steno-Typist Grade III from 28.11.2020. Now Counselling Date will be Postponed.
Venue: O/o Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC Road, (Near Broadway Bus stand) Chennai – 600 003. The candidates will also be informed through SMS and Email regarding the date and time separately. No individual memo will be sent to the candidates by post.
Documents Required: The Candidates should bring all the original Certificates as per their claim in their online applications and are also directed to attend the original Certificate Verification cum Counselling on the scheduled date/time without fail.
All the candidates are requested to follow covid protocols and maintain social distancing for the safe conduct of Document verification.
