Educational Qualification

To apply for the Telangana Police Constable Jobs and Telangana Police SI jobs, candidates must have completed their 12th / Graduation / Post-Graduation from a recognized university. 

Age Limit

Candidate should have attained the age of 21 years and must not have reached 25 years of age as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., he or she must have been born between 2nd July, 1997 and 1st July 2001.

Age relaxation may be allowed as per government norms.

• Now, click the link to “Apply Online” on the home page.
• Fill the TS Police Constable Online Application Form2022 with the complete details.

Application Fee:

Prelims Written Test:

The Prelims Written Test consists of 200 Objective type questions of Intermediate standard. It consists of 8 parts as given below.

• English
• Arithmetic
• General Science
• History of India, Indian culture, Indian National Movement
• Principles of Geography, Indian Geography, Polity and Economy
• Current events of national and international importance
• Test of Reasoning / Mental Ability
• Contents pertaining to the State of Telangana.

Final Written Test:

The Final Written Test consists of 200 Objective type questions of Intermediate standard. It consists of 9 parts as given below.

• English.
• Arithmetic.
• General Science.
• History of India, Indian Culture, Indian National Movement.
• Principles of Geography, Indian Geography, Polity and Economy
• Current events of national and international importance
• Test of Reasoning / Mental Ability.
• Personality test (the questions will be from Ethics, Sensitivity to Gender and weaker sections, social awareness, Emotional Intelligence).
• Contents pertaining to the State of Telangana.

Prelims Test

Prelims test consists of 200 Objective type questions for 200 Marks. It consists of two sections of 100 Marks Each

Section A: Arithmetic or Test of Reasoning/Mental Ability

Arithmetic

It will consist of questions on problems relating to compound interest, ratio & proportion, number system, simple interest, average, percentage,partnership, menstruation, profit & loss, time & work, work & wages, time & distance, clocks & calendars, etc.

Test of Reasoning

It will consist questions of both verbal & non-verbal type and questions on spatial orientation, problem solving,analogies, similarities and differences,visual memory, spatial visualization,  analysis, judgment,decision making, etc.

Section B: General Studies

• General Science – contemporary developments in science and technology and their inference including matters of everyday observation and experience, current issues relating to protection of environment as may be expected of a well educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific
• Current events of national and international importance.
• History of India (Indian National Movement) – emphasis will be on broad and general understanding of the subject in its economic, social, cultural and political aspects
• Principles of Geography and Indian Geography.
• Indian Polity and Economy – including the Country’s  rural development,political system, planning and economic reforms of India
• Telangana Movement and State Formation –
  • The idea of Telangana (1948-1970)
  • Mobilization phase (1971-1990)
  • Towards formation of Telangana State (1991-2014)

Final Written Test:

The Final Written Test Consists of 4 Papers:

Paper I: English ( 100 Marks)

Part A: It is objective in nature with 50 questions for 25 Marks. The duration given for this section is 45 Minutes.

Usage, Comprehension and other language skills, Vocabulary, Grammar  in the Multiple Choice Questions Format (with (25%) negative marks for wrong answers).

Part B: It is a Descriptive type paper for 75 Marks which needs to be answered in a duration of 2 hours 15 Minutes.

Descriptive Type Questions paper covering Writing of Précis, Letters / Reports, Topical Paragraphs, Essay,  and Reading Comprehension

Paper II: Urdu/Telugu (100 Marks)

Part A: It is objective in nature with 50 questions for 25 Marks. The duration given for this section is 45 Minutes.
