UKPSC 2020: Important Dates

In the middle of Covid’19 pandemic disease, all the recruitment notifications and scheduled exams were postponed for a while. The official notification is yet to be released. Based on the previous year events and their orders are given in the following table. All the interested candidates are supposed to frequently visit the official website for latest updates regarding the exam.

UKPSC 2020: PCS Application Form 

Uttarakhand PCS 2020 application form will be available on the official website after the release of recruitment notification. The candidates those who are fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply for the post through online medium only. The candidates must be noted that there will be separate forms to be filled for Prelims and Mains examinations. Before applying to the post the candidates should read the instructions thoroughly.

Points to be noted during filling the application form

The application form in the online portal will be active after notification release. In the application form the applicants have to fill their personal details and educational qualifications in the provided space. After that, the candidates have to upload the scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature in the application form. The size of the uploaded photograph should be between 10 KB to 40 KB, while the size of the uploaded signature should be 10 KB to 20 KB. Both the scanned images should be uploaded in the JPG format. The candidates have to submit the application fee 48 hours after the submission of application form.

Steps to be followed during filling the application form:

• Visit the official website – https://ukpsc.gov.in/
• Go to the “Exams/Recruitment” section on the homepage
• Search for UKPSC PCS 2020 Application form
• Register yourself using the credentials required
• Login again through the provided registration number and password
• Fill the details asked in the application form
• Upload the documents asked in the application form
• Submit the requisite application fee.
• Click on “Submit”
• The confirmation page will be displayed on the screen, download and save for future correspondence.

The candidates should take a copy of their application form for future reference.

Application Fee

The application fee is different for both exams (Prelims and Mains). The candidate can choose the mode of payment. The application fee can be paid via online mode using a credit card, debit card or net banking.

For Uttarakhand PCS Prelims Exam 2020

• General/ OBC/ Dependent on freedom fighter candidates: Rs. 150 /-
• SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen: Rs. 60 /-

For Uttarakhand PCS Main Exam 2020

• General Candidates: Rs. 250/-
• OBC/ Dependent on freedom fighter candidates/ Ex-servicemen: Rs: 150/-
• SC/ ST/ PWD candidates: Rs. 100/-

UKPSC 2020: PCS Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must check their eligibility with the conditions or criteria given by the UPSC. The candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria will be canceled anytime during the selection process. Following points are the detailed eligibility criteria for the UKPSC PCS 2020 exam.

Nationality

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Tibetan refugees who have come to India before 1962 with an intention to permanently settle here.
• The candidates migrating to Indian with an intention to permanently settle here from the countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, and United Republic of Tanzania are also eligible. However, they need to have a certificate of eligibility from the state government.

Age

• Minimum age limit is 21 as on July 1, 2020.
• Maximum age limit is 42 as on July 1, 2020.

Education Qualifications

• Candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized university.
• Candidates must have pursued PG Diploma in Town and architect planning or associate membership of the institute of planner / American institute of town/institute of town planner or institute of town planner India for the post of Sahayak Nagar Niyojak.
• To be eligible to apply for the post of District information officer / Feature writer, candidates must have completed graduation with Hindi subject.

The candidate looking for the post of Superintendent of police or district commandant home guard through the Uttarakhand PCS 2020 exam needs to fulfill the following physical parameters.

Note: For female candidates, the weight should be equal to more than 45 KG.
