UP Police Constable Recruitment 2022 Notification Out

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) or UP Police, Lucknow has released a notice on 7 January, 2022 related to the direct recruitment of Constable Civil Police and Fireman Posts. The recruitment is for the vacancies of 26210 Police constables and 172 firefighters. The notice invites bids from reputed companies and agencies for the purpose of above mentioned recruitment. It will be the responsibility of the selected agency to ensure that the selection process is up to the required standards and that eligible candidates are recruited. The agency will be also responsible for all the process involved in the recruitment like conducting the online application process, exam, generating the admit cards, document verification, physical standard test, biometric verification during DV, generation of the final selection list, and helpline.

The UPPRPB has invited open tender from reputed companies for the direct recruitment for 26,382  vacancies out of which 26210 are for Police constables and 172 for firefighters. The interested organizations should submit their bids by 12.30 pm on 27th January, 2022. The agency shall undertake the recruitment process by conducting offline written exam (OMR based). All rules and guidelines regarding the submission of tender has been updated in the website. The RfQ (Request for Quotation) has also been uploaded in the official website uppbpp.gov.in. All the interested parties are requested to duly fill the RfQ, keeping in mind all the rules and regulations, and submit the same before the deadline.

UP Police Constable and Firefighters Vacancy Notification

According to the UPPRPB, there are 26210 vacancies for Police Constable post and 172 vacancies for firefighters. Applications will have to be submitted online. The notification regarding the time frame for online application is yet to be announced but is tentatively expected to start in February, 2022. Meanwhile all the aspiring candidates can start their preparation by going through the eligibility criteria and making sure that they satisfy the conditions laid down by the board.

UP Police Constable Age Limit

• Age limit for male candidates: 18 – 22 years as on 1st July, 2022
• Age limit for female candidates: 18 – 25 years as on 1st  July,2022

There is a 5 year relaxation in the upper age for OBC (Other Backward Class)/ SC (Scheduled Class) / ST (Scheduled Tribe). The upper age limit relaxation for other categories will be as per UPPRPB rules.

UP Police Constable Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed 10+2 education or its equivalent from a recognized university or board.

Aspiring candidates should be one of the following:

• A citizen of India
• Tibetian refugees who migrated to India before 01.01.1962
• Persons who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania to permanently settle in India

2. ID Proof (Aadhaar card, Driving license or any govt ID)

4. Name of the intermediate education board, year of passing etc.
5. Address Proof
6. Category certificate (if applicable)
