 Candidates must be aware that West Bengal School Service Commission has invited application for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers in Santhali Medium Govt. aided/sponsored Junior High, Secondary and Higher Secondary schools except for Hill Region. So as mentioned the candidates, can apply by single online application, as provided in the Official Website of the Commission can apply online for the post of Assistant Teacher of aforesaid schools for Upper Primary Level of Schools, Classes IX-X and Classes XI-XII.

WBSSC Teacher Recruitment – Apply Online 

Be notified that the online application link is active from 23^rd December 2020 to 06^th January 2021 and the selection will be done on the basis of the eligible candidates’ performance in the Prelims & Mains Exam. Aspirants must check the notification pdf attached in the official website and should apply online for the said posts.

There is a total number of 465 vacancies that are available in the above mentioned Santhali Medium Govt. aided/sponsored Junior High, Secondary and Higher Secondary schools except Hill Region. WBSSC Teacher selection will be conducted on the basis of a Preliminary Exam which will be followed by the Mains examination. The dates for all of these exams shall be announced later.

Candidates must be aware that the recruitment is being done for Upper Primary Level of Schools, for Classes of 9^th, 10^th and also for 12^th.  All candidates must check for more details like eligibility criteria (such as educational qualification, age limit, selection process and other details) on the official website of WB Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2020 or you can find it here itself.

Age Limit

As of 1^st January 2021 the candidate should be of 21 to 40 years old to be eligible to appear for the Assistant Teacher post. ( For the Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe, OBC and Physically Handicapped candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable as per Government norms).

Application Fee

• For UR & OBC A/B category the amount Rs. 250/- only as fees with Rs. 10/- for Conveyance Charges through e-challan
• For SC/ST and PH category – No Fee
