Andhra Pradesh State level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB) came in to existence on 10/09/1985. It is headed by Inspector General of Police designated as the Chairman. The Andhra Pradesh Police Department plays a very important role in maintaining law and order in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is headed by the Director General of police, Damodar Gautam Sawang.

AP Police SI Constable Cut Off-2020
Cut off is the minimum marks determined by AP Police Recruitment Board to shortlist the candidate for the next round of the selection process. All those candidates who will secure marks more than or equal to the determined cut off marks will be shortlisted for the next stage of the AP Police Recruitment Exam.
There are various factors that are considered by the examination authority to determine the cut off of the exam. The factors are stated below:
- Number of vacancies
- Total number of candidates appeared in the test
- Difficulty level of the exam.
AP Police SI Constable Selection process
Before checking the cut off we should be aware of the selection Process involved in the AP Police SI Constable Recruitment process.
The four stages involved in the selection are
- Preliminary Written Test,
- Physical Measurements Test (PMT),
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and
- Final written examination

Stages of AP Police SI Constable Cut Off
The AP police recruitment Cut Off will be checked for four different stages
- The first stage is the cut off preliminary examination
- The second stage is the cut off of PMT
- The third is the cut off of PET
- The fourth stage is the cut off of Final Examination
The candidates who qualify in the Preliminary test will be eligible for PMT
The candidates who qualify in PMT will be eligible for PET
The candidates who qualify in PET will be eligible for Final Written Examination
Preliminary Selection Test:
Preliminary test consists of two set of paper as mentioned below. Each paper has a duration of three hours each.

Cut Off -Physical Measurements Test –AP Police SI
The candidates who clear first written test will appear for PMT. The candidates should meet the following requirement

Note : Candidates belonging to Schedule Tribes and aboriginal tribes in the agency areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari districts should meet the following requirements

Cut Off – Physical Efficiency Test –AP Police SI
Candidate who qualifies in the above Physical Measurement Tests will be required to undergo the following tests and be qualified as specified below.
For Post Code No.s 11, 14, 15 & 16: Candidates including both men and women must qualify in 1600 Meters run (1 Mile Run) and one out of remaining two events as detailed below.

Final Written Examination:
Candidates who qualify in the Physical Test will be eligible to appear for a written examination consisting of four papers, each of three hours duration.

Note:
- Questions in Papers 3 & 4 will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu languages.
- Candidates have to answer the questions on an OMR answer sheet using Blue/ Black Ball Point pen only. For this purpose candidates should bring Blue / Black Ball Point pens along with them.

Note:
- Papers I and II are only qualifying in nature. The cases of the candidates who do not secure the minimum qualifying marks in these papers i.e., papers I and II will not be considered further in the selection process irrespective of their performance in papers III & IV. The marks secured in these papers i.e., papers I and II will not be taken into account for final selection.
- When two or more candidates in a particular category obtain equal marks, preference will be given to the candidate who was born earlier.
