IAF Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

CMTD (OG)	Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. Must be holding a valid civil driving license for light and heavy vehicles. Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanisms. Minimum of two years experience in driving motor vehicles.
Cook (Ordinary Grade)	Matriculation from recognized Board with a certificate or diploma in catering. One year of experience in the trade.
Clerk Hindi Typist	12th Class or equivalent And A typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi on a manual typewriter. OR A typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer.
Store Keeper	12th Class or equivalent.
Painter	Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. Industrial Training Institute Certificate in appropriate akin field or Trade viz – Painter or Ex-Servicemen from appropriate trade viz. Painter.
Stenographer Grade-II	12th class pass or equivalent from recognized Board or University. Dictation – 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute Transcription 50 minutes English on the computer)
Carpenter	Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. Industrial Training Institute Certificate in appropriate akin field or Trade viz – Carpenter or Ex-Servicemen from appropriate trade viz. Carpenter Rigger.
Store (Superintendent)	Graduate of a recognized University or equivalent.
Fireman	Matriculation or equivalent. Must have undergone training in Fire Fighting under a state fire service or a recognized institution of repute. Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, Hose Fitting, and Fire appliances, and equipment like fire Engines, Trailer Fire Pumps, and Foam Branches. Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test specified in advertisement OR Ex-serviceman of appropriate trade.

Nationality

Candidates who wish to apply for the post of Indian Air Force Group C posts must be a citizen of India. Candidates if applied and find any violation of this, the recruitment board has the power to cancel the application.

Experience

Indian Air Force doesn’t ask for any prior work experience to apply for the above-mentioned post. He/ She can apply for the Indian Air Force Group C posts after they have received the desired educational qualifications mentioned in the eligibility criteria.

Physical Eligibility Criterias

Weight	Weight should be proportionate to height and age.
Chest	The minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
Hearing	Should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
Dental	Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
Health	Candidates should be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages. He should be free from all communicable diseases & skin ailments. Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.
Body Tattoo	Permanent body tattoos are not permitted, however tattoos only on the inner face of the forearms(inside of elbow to the wrist), back(dorsal) part of the hand/reverse side of the palm, and Tribals with tattoos which are as per custom Traditions of their tribes may be considered. However, the right to decide on the acceptability /unacceptability of the individual rests with the Selection Centre. Candidates with permanent body tattoos are to submit two photographs(close up and distinct view) with details of the size and type of the Tattoo.

Indian Air Force Group C Selection Process 2021

All applications that are received will be scrutinized in terms of age limit, minimum qualification, documents, nationality and certificates. Thereafter eligible candidates will be issued a call letter for the written test.
The eligible candidates will be required to appear for the written test as the first stage of recruitment.
The written test will be based on the minimum educational qualification.
The written test will consist of:

(i) General Intelligence & Reasoning

(ii) Numerical Aptitude

(iii) General English

(iv) General Awareness

The question cum answer paper will be in English and Hindi.
The requisite number of candidates will be shortlisted and called for skill /practical/physical test wherever applicable based on merit/category in the written test.
Shortlisted candidates are instructed to bring original certificates, copies of which were mentioned with the application.
