Understanding marking pattern and exam scheme
- Exam pattern and marking scheme is the primary thing candidates need to focus on.
- Talking about the exam pattern for the SI exam it includes, written test which is online objective type, physical test and interview
- Written test consists of two papers paper I and paper II each paper holding a weightage of 100 marks. Paper I is for technical posts and paper II is for both technical and non technical posts.
- Paper I comprises three subjects : physics, chemistry and Math having weightage of 33, 33 and 34 marks for the respective subjects.
- Paper II consists of subjects namely English, reasoning and general knowledge having 30, 70 and 100 marks for the respective subjects.
- Time duration assigned for both papers will be 3 hours.
