The advertisement has been published by UP Police in it’s official website i.e. uppbpb.gov.in. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply for these vacancies. More than twenty lakh candidates from various districts in Uttar Pradesh are expected to apply this year.

UP Police Constable 2022 Vacancies
UPPRPB has announced 26210 vacancies for the post of Police Constable for the year 2022. The category wise vacancy list has not been released yet. It will be updated here as soon as it is officially announced.
The number of vacancies this year is much less compared to the vacancies in 2019. There were a total of 49568 vacancies in the year 2019. The table below shows the category wise vacancy of the year 2019.

UP Police Constable 2022 Application Process
The UPPBPB will only accept online applications for the post of Police Constable. All other forms of application will be rejected. Follow the steps given below to submit the application form:
- Visit the official website of UPPBPB – Uppbpb.gov.in
- Click on the Online Apply button in the Home Page.
- Select UP Police Constable Bharti 2022.
- Fill all the required details like Name, Father Name, Date Of Birth etc.
- Upload the required documents like 12th Pass Certificate, Caste Certificate etc.
- Finally submit your UP Police Constable Online Application 2022.
- Pay the application fees.
- Take a print out of your online application form.

The applicants should will have to provide the following documents if required:
- Scanned passport size photo
- Any ID card with photo ( aadhar card, driving license or any govt ID)
- Birth Certificate or any relevant certificate as proof of age
- Mark list of 10th or 12th exams
- Address Proof
- Category certificate (If applicable)
UP Police Constable 2022 Salary
The salary of UP Police Constable will be in the range of Rs. 5,200 – Rs. 20,200 gross pay as per Level 7 category.
UP Police Constable 2022 Application Fee
An application fee of Rs 400 should be paid by the general and OBC category. All other categories are exempted from paying the application fee.

UP Police Constable 2022 Selection Process
The selection process for UP police constable is a three stage process.
Written test:
This is the first phase of selection. In this phase, candidates will have to attend an offline exam. The exam will be of multiple choice type. It will be of 300 marks with 150 questions. Each question will carry two marks. There will be a negative marking of .5 marks for every wrong answer. The medium of exam will be English and Hindi. The duration of exam will be two hours. The difficulty level of the exam will be according to education standard of 10th and 12th. The topics covered will be General Knowledge, Numerical and Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude, Intelligence And Reasoning Ability and General Hindi.

Physical Eligibility Test (PET):
Candidates who qualify in the written test will have to appear for the physical eligibility test. Candidates are asked to perform tasks to assess their physical endurance and fitness. Male candidates have to complete a race of 4.8 km in a maximum of 25 minutes and female candidates have to complete a race of 2.4 km in a maximum of 14 minutes. Those who fail to do this in the prescribed timing will be disqualified.
Documents checking:
Those who pass both the phases will be called for checking of the documents. Candidates have to clear this phase to be considered for recruitment.
