Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has published the recruitment notification for the Assistant Engineers. The latest HPPSC recruitment notification is to select eligible engineering graduates for the Assistant Engineer (Executive Trainee) position. This particular post is at the E-2 level and on contract in Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited. Himachal Pradesh PSC is inviting online applications from eligible environment engineering graduates to 02 (Unreserved), posts of Assistant Engineer (Executive Trainee, Environment). This Assistant Engineer post is at E-2 level (on contract basis) in the pay scale of (Rs.16650-39100/-+Rs.5800/- G.P.) on a Pay Band-4) on consolidated fixed contractual amount of Rs.31,150/- per month. This particular appointment will be in Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited under the Department of MPP and POWER, in Himachal Pradesh.

HPPSC Eligibility Criteria
- Education Qualification: Candidates should have completed B.Tech./ B.E. (Environment Engineering/ Environment Science/ B.E. with one (1) year PG Diploma in Environment with at least 55% marks in case of SC/ ST/ internal (HPPCL) candidates and 60% marks in case of others.
- Age Limit: Candidates age shall be between18 years to 30 years as of January 01, 2021. The upper age limit relaxation for SC/ ST/OBC/ PH and other categories is as per Himachal Pradesh Government Instructions. For government employees of Himachal Pradesh, there is no upper age relaxation. Upper age limit relaxation of 05 years is admissible to candidates belonging to Project Affected Families, as per provision under Clause 36.3 of Direct Recruitment Procedure Manual of HPPCL. There is also a relaxation of 02 years in the upper age limit for all those candidates who have completed Apprenticeship Training in HPPCL.
