The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) coordinates the  Assistant Sub-Inspectors: Accountant, Clerk cadre positions recruitment through multiple stages of screening. The Uttar Pradesh Police Assistant Sub Inspector selection stages are:

• Online Written Examination
• Document Verification
• Proficiency Assessment Test (PAT)
• Physical Standard Test (PST), and
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

On receiving the applications, the UPPRPB conducts each stage of selection and publishes the results of the same on their official website. Eligible applicants can then check their results from the Police Recruitment and Promotion Board website using their application portals login credentials. To get qualified for the next stage of selection, the Physical test examinee must score at least the given minimum qualifying marks
