Uttar Pradesh Police ASI Eligibility Criteria 2021

The eligibility criteria for the UP Police Assistant Sub Inspector post is as follows:

• Education Qualification: Candidates should have completed graduation in any stream from a UGC recognized university or its equivalent. For the ASI Accountant positions, applicants should possess either graduation in Commerce or Masters Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent. All applicants should have a typing speed of 30 wpm in English and 25 wpm (15 wpm for ASI Accountant post) typing speed in Hindi and should possess an ‘O’ level certificate from DOEACC/ NIELIT or equivalent from a government recognized organization.
• Age Limit: Candidates ages shall be between 21 years and 28 years as of July 01, 2021.  The upper age limit relaxations for candidates belonging to various categories are applicable based on the Uttar Pradesh government rules.
