The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has started the online registration for Constable (male), Constable (P.A.C / I.R.B) (male) and Firefighter (male/ female) posts on 03 January 2022. Aspiring candidates can now apply online for the aforementioned posts on ‘recruitment.uksssconline.in.’ Applications will be accepted until 16th February 2022. Eligible candidates will have to appear for a written exam with is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in June 2022.

UKSSSC Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are urged to go through all the instructions and eligibility criteria before submitting their application.
Nationality
- A citizen of India
- A Tibetan refugee who moved to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling here permanently
- A PIO (Person of Indian origin). The nationals from the following countries would fall under this category such as Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.
Note: Apart from citizens of India, all other candidates must have a certificate of eligibility that has been issued by the Government of India. Tibetan refugees should also get their certificate of eligibility from the police department.
UKSSSC Recruitment 2022 Age Limit
The age limit as prescribed by the UKSSSC is as follows:
- For Constable and fireman (male) : 18 to 22 Years
- For Fireman (female) : 18 to 25 Years

Weight: All female candidates should have a minimum weight of 45kg.
UKSSSC Recruitment Exam Pattern
The exam will be of objective type multiple choice questions for 100 marks. The duration of the paper will be two hours. Questions asked will be from topics like basic Hindi, general knowledge and general studies (knowledge about Uttarakhand). Every correct answer will be rewarded 1 mark and for every incorrect answer there will be a negative marking of 1/4 mark. Candidates belonging to the general and OBC category should score a minimum of 45% and those belonging to SC and ST category should score a minimum of 35% to pass the written exam.
Apart from the written test, all candidates will have to undergo physical efficiency test. This test will consist of cricket ball throw, long jump, 50m sprint, skipping, relay race, sit ups etc depending on the post one applies for. All candidates should secure a minimum mark of 50 in the physical efficiency test. Any candidate who fails to score 50% in any of the event will be disqualified. Final marks will be a combination of both the written and physical efficiency test.
Exam Center
Candidates can select their convenient exam centers for both the written and physical efficiency test from a list of centers released by the commission. This should be done at the time of application. Candidates can choose the same or different centers for both the tests.

Visit the official website of UKSSSC and register by clicking on OTR (one Time Registration) link. The details submitted in the registration form will be used in the application form as well. Hence all details should be carefully filled by the candidate. Once submitted, no changes can be made in the registration details.
