The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducts the Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET) to screen eligible teachers in the state. UP TET scores will be valid for the next 05 years, and after that period if you wish to apply for a teaching job in UP you need to retake the test. There are separate TET exams to evaluate teachers for Lower Primary classes and Upper Primary classes.
