BEL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

The maximum age limit of 22 years for the General category. However, candidates note that usual age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates will be provided according to the Government norms.

Educational Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
• A diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in a relevant discipline.
• Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.

Important Note:

• Minimum physical standards as prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rule 1992, and amendments thereof if any will be followed.
• The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.
• Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates is based on merit, that is, based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification. A Shortlist of candidates will be prepared by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR). The shortlist will be declared by 27th January and candidates will be informed via registered E-mail. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at establishment premises, which is to be held tentatively by 3rd February 2021.

BEL Apprentice Application Procedure

Check the procedure for registration and submission of application:

(1) For students who have already enrolled in the National Web Portal and having login details:

After verification of student enrolment by BOAT (SR), a student will be able to log in and apply:

• Login
• Click Establishment Request Menu
• Click Find Establishment
• Upload Resume
• Choose Establishment name
• Type ‘Bharat Electronics Limited’ and search
• Click apply.
• Click apply again.

(2) For students who have not enrolled in the National Web Portal:

• Log on to the www.mhrdnats.gov.in
• Click Enroll
• Complete the application form
• A unique Enrolment Number for each student will be generated.

Note: Please wait for at least one day for enrollment verification and approval. After this student can proceed to the steps given below.

• Login
• Click Establishment Request Menu
• Click Find Establishment
• Upload Resume
• Choose Establishment name
• Type ‘Bharat Electronics Limited’ and search
• Click apply
• Click apply again
