BEL Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria
BEL has mentioned about the eligibility criteria in it’s official notification. Candidates should go through the criteria in detail to confirm their eligibility. The educational qualification of the candidate also carries weightage in the selection process.
BEL Recruitment 2022 Educational Qualification
BEL will be recruiting candidates for the relevant posts as per the below mentioned educational qualification. Those who do not meet this criteria will not be considered.
Project Engineer-I: B.E./ B. Tech/ B. Sc (4-year course) Engineering degree in – Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / Electrical / Civil Engineering from recognized University / Institution / College with 55% and above for General/ EWS/ OBC candidates & below 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD Candidates.
Trainee Engineer-I: B.E./ B. Tech/ B. Sc (4-year Course) / B. Arch (5-year Course) Engineering degree in – Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / Electrical / Architecture. from recognized University/ Institution/ College with 55% and above for General/ EWS / OBC candidates & below 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
BEL Recruitment 2022 Work Experience
BEL is looking for experienced candidates and they will be shortlisting candidates on the basis of job experience as mentioned here. Candidates should have completed the prescribed years of experience by 1 January, 2022.
Trainee Officer (Finance)-I: Two years MBA in Finance from reputed University/ Institution/ College with 55% and above for General / EWS / OBC candidates & below 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
Project Engineer-I: Minimum 2 years of relevant industrial post qualification experience.
Trainee Engineer-I: Minimum 6 months of relevant industrial post qualification experience.
Trainee Officer (Finance)-I: Two years MBA in Finance from reputed University/ Institution/ College with 55% and above for General / EWS / OBC candidates & below 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
BEL Recruitment 2022 Age Limit
According to the official notification released by BEL, the upper age limit of candidates as on 01.01.2022 should be:
Project Engineer-I: 32 Years
Trainee Engineer-I: 28 Years
Trainee Officer (Finance)-I: 28 Years
The upper age limit will be relaxed for certain categories. OBC candidates will get a relaxation of 3 years and SC/ ST candidates will get a relaxation of 5 years. For candidates belonging to PwBD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the other categories mentioned here.
Note: SSLC/ SSC/ ISC mark card or any other valid document will be considered as proof of date of birth.
BEL Recruitment 2022 Nationality
BEL will consider only Indian nationals for the posts of Project Engineer, Trainee Engineer and Trainee Officer.
BEL Recruitment 2022 Selection Procedure
BEL will be selecting candidates on the basis of their eligibility, educational qualification and work experience. Weightage will be allotted on the basis of these criteria.

Candidates will be called for interview based on their weightage in the first two criteria. The results of the final selection will be published on BEL website.
BEL Recruitment 2022 Application Fee
Application fee for the online submission of applications is as follows:
- Project Engineer – I: Rs.500/-
- Trainee Engineer & Trainee Officer (Finance) – I: Rs.200
Candidates belonging to SC, ST & PwBD categories are exempted from payment of application fee.
BEL Recruitment 2022 Application Process
- Candidates who desire to apply for the posts of Project Engineer, Trainee Engineer and Trainee Officer (Finance) should go through the BEL advertisement in detail. They should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria and have all the required documents. (List of required documents is given below).
- Candidates can apply online by clicking the link provided against the advertisement and click on the link:
https://jobapply.in/BEL2022TETOPE - Candidates should fill the form carefully as no corrections will be permitted once the applcation is submitted.
- If candidates are employed in BEL, they shall submit prior intimation to their respective
SBU/ Unit HR. - The application fee should be paid through SBI Collect (through online). The candidate should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of the bank official.
- General/EWS/OBC candidates have to enter the “SBI Collect reference No.” generated after payment, in the online application Form before proceeding to fill the other details in the form.
- Application fee once paid will not be refunded. Applications made without fee payment will be rejected.
- If a candidate is applying for both Trainee Engineer and Project Engineer posts, then the application fee should be remitted separately for each post.
Documents Required for Application
a) Scanned passport size photograph
b) SSLC/ SSC/ ISC marks card or any other valid document as proof of date of birth.
c) Final degree/ Provisional Degree certificate of relevant qualification.
d) Proof of norms for CGPA/ DGPA/ OGPA or letter grade/ document for percentage/ class issued
by university/ Institution/ College.
e) Caste/ Tribe/ Community/ Disability/ Economic status Certificate in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD/ EWS respectively. Candidates belonging to OBC category should produce the Certificate issued on or after 01.01.2021 and for EWS Certificate issued for the year 2021-22.
f) Post qualification work experience certificate/s from previous / current employer.
g) Candidates employed on permanent/Fixed term basis in Government / Quasi Government and
Public Sectors undertaking should compulsorily submit the ‘No Objection Certificate’ along
with the application.
h) Candidates employed on temporary basis in Government / Quasi Government and Public
Sectors undertaking should compulsorily submit Offer of Appointment and latest pay slip.
