BSF Water Wing SI, Constable Notification 2022: Eligibility
Sub Inspector (Master): 12th or 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University and 2nd Class Master Certificate issued by the Central or Mercantile Marine Department or State Inland Water Transport Authority.
Sub Inspector (Engine Driver): 12th or 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University and 1st Class Engine Driver Certificate issued by the Mercantile Marine Department or the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority.
Sub Inspector (Workshop): Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent or; three years Diploma in Mechanical or Marine or Automobile Engineering from a recognized Institution or University.
Head Constable (Master): 10th or Matriculation passed from a recognized board or equivalent and Serang Certificate.
Head Constable (Engine Driver): 10th or Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent and Possessing 2nd Class Engine Driver Certificate.
Head Constable (Workshop): 10th or Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) / Diploma in respective trade (i.e. Motor Mechanic (Carpentry/ Electrician/ Air conditioner Technician/Diesel/ Petrol Engine)/ Machinist/ Electronics and Plumbing) from a recognized Institution.
Constable (Crew): 10th or Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent and atleast one year experience in operation of Boat below 265 HP and Should know swimming in deep water without any assistance and will present an undertaking certificate along with Application Form.

BSF Water Wing SI, Constable Notification 2022: Exam Pattern
The written examination will be held at the selected centres on the date and time decided by the BSF which will be communicated to all aspirants through online admit cards. The schedule of written examin will be announced on BSF official website for the information of all aspirants and online hall tickets will be released on the recruitment profile/E-mail/SMS. Applicants may download their admit cards by logging into their profile. Admission in written exam will be allowed purely on production of online Hall Tickets. There will be one question paper of objective type with MCQs to be answered on an OMR Answer Sheet. The written examination will consist of the subjects discussed in the following table:
