Eligibility Criteria for Forest Guard Post 2020
- Educational Qualification
The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education or University.
- Nationality
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Physical Standard
MEN
(i) Height : 163 cm
(ii) Chest : 5 cm with expansion
WOMEN
(i) Height : 150 cm
(ii) Chest : 5 cm with expansion
- Age Limit
As per the existing rules under CFSR 1937, the candidates age must be in between 18-25 (age as on
15.11.2020).

Selection Process
The candidates will be selected through Multiple Choice Objective type examination and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

- The exam will be conducted for 100 marks, all questions carries equal marks.
- There will be negative marking for each wrong answers one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
Syllabus
- General intelligence and reasoning will include both verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
- General awareness will include history, culture, geography, economic, science, General polity, Indian constitution, current affairs.
- Numerical aptitude will test the knowledge of arithmetical concepts and their use in finding the solution of real life problems (Matriculation/ 10th level).
- English Comprehension will test the candidate’s ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability etc.
- Forest and Forestry will test the knowledge of the candidate for ecological and forestry concepts etc.
Final Selection Procedure
The candidates will be finally selected on the basis of another written test and PET. The exam centre and dates will be published on the website in due course of time.
- During the time of written test, the candidates must bring Identity Proof and recent passport size photographs with him/her along with Admit Card.
- The Written test will comprise of Multiple Choice Objective type questions and will be in Hindi & English.
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answers.

How to Apply for Cantonment Board Ambala Recruitment 2020?
The applicant is supposed to complete the Online Application Form within 30 minutes. Before starting the filling up of online application, the candidate must have his/her photograph and signature duly scanned in the jpg format. The recruitment to the above mentioned post at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional and subject to the prescribed eligibility conditions.

- Uploading of scanned Photograph and Signature.
- Payout of application fee online ( if applicable).
- Re-check all the details that you have entered.
- And finally click on the Submit.
