The railway ITI apprentices will have training depending upon the trade, and workshops they are employed. The cumulative working hours per week for the apprentices should be 42 to 48 hours per week. In this latest recruitment notification, Central Railway is hiring the apprentices through this latest recruitment notification for one-year on-job training. Based on the recommendations of the 07th CPC, the rates of stipend to Special Class Railway Apprentices are revised and the apprentices will now receive Rs. 9100/ as their monthly stipend on their first year of apprenticeship.

Central Railway Apprentice Eligibility
- Age Limit: ITI candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years and 3 years in the cases of SCs/ STs and OBCs respectively. Non-ITI candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 22 years of age.
- Education Qualification: The candidates should have passed Matriculation or 10th Class in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% Marks in aggregate from a recognized education Board or its equivalent and also have an ITI certificate in relevant trade affiliated to NCVT/ SCVT.

ONLINE APPLICATION FOR ITI APPRENTICESHIP 2021
- While filling the online application, candidates have to upload their recent photograph, digital signature, original scanned SSC (Std. X)/Equivalent Mark sheet, Date of birth proof, e original scanned National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT, etc.
- Candidates should upload the caste certificate, Non-creamy layer certificate, and disability certificate as required.
The railway will prepare the merit list based on the percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The list will be prepared cluster/unit wise, trade wise and community-wise. Candidates finally enlisted would be subject to verification of original testimonials uploaded and production of the medical certificate as required.
