Contract Appointment of Doctors
The recent pandemic left with so many medical facilities across India with a shortage of skilled medical workers. To tackle this situation, the Central Railway has decided to appoint medical staffs across its medical facilities. The primary duty of these newly appointed staffs would be monitoring of the 05 quarantine centres under the Central railway board. there wouldn’t be any written tests, and interested candidates will have to attend Whatsapp interview to get on board. The initial contract period is 15 days, but railways can cancel the contract at any time by giving you 15 days notice period.
Through this contract-engagement railway is intended to procure 07 doctors for the quarantine facilities centres and 09 doctors for isolation wards. Preference will be given to retired doctors below 65 years if they are available for this period.
Central Railway Recruitment: Contract Engagement Eligibility
Age Limit: For Open Market Candidates, they shall be below 50 years. For retired railway/ government doctors, age shall be below 65 years as on April 2020.
Education Qualification: Degree in Medicine recognized by the Medical Council of India. Candidates should have completed the compulsory Rotatory internship.

The interview may continue to the next day if the number of candidates exceeds. Candidates, please note that the above-given vacancies are provisional only, and the numbers may go up depending upon the requirements.
The selected medical staffs will receive the remuneration of Rs. 75000 per month. The doctors who are now working with PSUs/ or other government facilities should produce the NOC from their employer before joining. The document verification of the selected candidates will be done before the joining, and there will be a waiting list for future use.
