Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have passed 8th, 10th, 12th class, ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
Age Limit
- Minimum age of candidates must be 15 years.
- Maximum age of candidates must be 24 years.

Vacancy details
A total of 182 apprentice seats will be filled through this recruitment drive. The vacancy distribution in various posts are as follows,
- Electrician: 70 Posts
- Mechanic: 40 Posts
- Machinist: 32 Posts
- Fitter: 23 Posts
- Welder: 17 Posts

Seat reservation is applicable to those candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/URPWD/EXSM. Candidates are requested to submit necessary documents to support their reservation claim. Refer official notification for more details.

Pay Scale
The candidates who successfully pass the selection process will be posted at DMW, Patiala with the salary scale given below,
- Rs. 7000 Per Month during the First Year of Training.
- Rs. 7700 Per Month during the Second Year of Training.
- Rs. 8050 Per Month during the Third Year of Training.

- Select ‘Online Link for Act Apprentice for 2020 – 21’
- Log in using your username and password or create a new account if you are a new user.
Application Fee
- General/OBC will have to pay a service fee of Rs.100+ as processing fee.
- SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped/ Women are exempted from any payment.
