The Teacher Exam Calendar 2022 has been released by the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board DSSSB for the TGT, PRT, and nursery teacher positions for the Delhi government schools. Before a candidate applies for the test or is awaiting the results depending on various posts, the candidates must be aware of the salary structure provided by the DSSSB.
With effect from 1 July 2021, the Cabinet Committee along with the DSSSB job perks has approved the Dearness Relief to pensioners and Dearness Allowance to Central Government Teachers increased to 31%. DSSSB Salary, Perks, and Allowances 2022: For TGT, PGT, PRT

DSSSB Salary and Allowance 2022: PRT Post
For the PRT teacher post, the net DSSSB salary is Rs. 45,646 per month (approximately). Out of the net salary, Rs.35,400 is the Basic Pay provided.
- 31% (approximately) of the total basic salary i.e, Rs.10,974 (out of the total salary) is given as Dearness Allowance.
- 24% (approximately) of the basic salary i.e, Rs. 8,496 is provided as House Rent Allowance.
- Rs. 3,600 is provided as Transport Allowance for the travel expenses.
- Rs.324 is provided as DA on TA (9% of TA).
- Rs. 51,006 is provided as the total Gross Pay amount to the PRT teachers.
- Every month, Rs.5359 from the total sum is deducted every month where the deduction is done as explained below:
i) GIS and Income Tax: Rs.1,500 (approximately) is deducted from the salary in terms of income tax.
ii) National Pension Scheme (NPS): Rs.3,859 (approximately) is deducted from the salary every month to serve the pension scheme for the candidate.

DSSSB Salary and Allowance 2022: TGT Post
For the TGT teacher post, the net DSSSB salary is Rs. 56,246 per month (approximately). Out of the net salary, Rs.44,900 is the Basic Pay provided.
- 31% (approximately) of the total basic salary i.e, Rs.13,929 (out of the total salary) is given as Dearness Allowance.
- 24% (approximately) of the basic salary i.e, Rs. 10,776 is provided as House Rent Allowance.
- Rs. 3,600 is provided as Transport Allowance for the travel expenses.
- Rs.324 is provided as DA on TA (9% of TA).
- Rs. 63,641 is provided as the total Gross Pay amount to the TGT teachers.
- Every month, Rs.7,395 from the total sum is deducted every month where the deduction is done as explained below:
i) GIS and Income Tax: Rs.2,500 (approximately) is deducted from the salary in terms of income tax.
ii) National Pension Scheme (NPS): Rs.4,895 (approximately) is deducted from the salary every month to serve the pension scheme for the candidate.
DSSSB Salary and Allowance 2022: PGT Post
For the PGT teacher post, the net DSSSB salary is Rs. 59,042 per month (approximately). Out of the net salary, Rs.47,600 is the Basic Pay provided.
- 31% (approximately) of the total basic salary i.e, Rs.14,756 (out of the total salary) is given as Dearness Allowance.
- 24% (approximately) of the basic salary i.e, Rs. 11,424 is provided as House Rent Allowance.
- Rs. 3,600 is provided as Transport Allowance for the travel expenses.
- Rs.324 is provided as DA on TA (9% of TA).
- Rs. 67,232 is provided as the total Gross Pay amount to the PGT teachers.
- Every month, Rs.8,190 from the total sum is deducted every month where the deduction is done as explained below:
i) GIS and Income Tax: Rs.3,000 (approximately) is deducted from the salary in terms of income tax.
ii) National Pension Scheme (NPS): Rs.5,190 (approximately) is deducted from the salary every month to serve the pension scheme for the candidate.
