ESIC Tamil Nadu Recruitment 2021

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Ministry of Labour and Employment is a self-financing social security and health insurance scheme for Indian workers. ESIC has recently published a walk-in notification for the recruitment of 48 positions towards its Medical College in K.K Nagar, Chennai. The contract would initially for a period of three years at the outset, with a provision of further extension for a period of two years. The maximum tenure of the will not exceed 5 years or 70 years of the age of faculty, whichever is earlier

Eligibility Criteria

• Professor: Candidates should have a recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in section 13 (3) of the said Act); and A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline.

1. For Dentistry: A postgraduate qualification i.e. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline.
2. For Non-Medical Candidates: Candidates should have a post-graduate qualification i.e. Masters Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline; and A Doctorate from a recognized University in the respective subject or allied discipline.

• Associate Professor: Candidates should have a recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in section 13 (3) of the said Act); and A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine)/ MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline.

Pay & Allowances

Consolidated remuneration may stand revised by 2.50% after every one year and no other allowances will be paid in addition to the consolidated remuneration.

Required Documents List

While appearing for the interview candidates should bring along the following documents with them:

• Two copy of the recent self-attested passport size photograph.
• Self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials in support of proof of age (Date of Birth), Educational Qualification, Experience and Research Papers, Publications etc.
• Original certificates and testimonials in support of proof of age, Educational Qualification, Experience and Research Papers, Publications etc., should be submitted at the time of interview.
• Certificate issued by the competent medical board in respect of Persons with BenchMark Disabilities.
• Candidates seeking reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD category must ensure that they
  are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in the notice and as per the instructions
  issued by Govt. of India. They should also produce original certificates in the prescribed format of Govt. of
  India in support of their claim.
• Persons working in Central Government/ State Government/ Central Autonomous bodies/ State
  Autonomous bodies/ Central PSUs/ State PSUs/have to produce no objection certificate from their employer at the time of document verification.
