The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has issued the GATE 2022 latest notification 2021 for the registration for the online GATE 2022 which is to be conducted in February. Those candidates who wish to apply to appear for the exam can check the official website for the official notification.
The registration starts on 2nd September 2021. The candidates can visit the official website of GATE. The last date to apply without a fine will be 24th September 2021. Those candidates who wish to apply for the exam should create a user name and password to register themselves to the official site.
The candidates should read the official notification before applying for the test to confirm the eligibility criteria. If the candidates are not suitable to appear for the exam, the application form of the particular candidate will be immediately rejected. The exam conducting authority has declared the dates to conduct the online GATE exam 2022. The tentative dates are on February 5, 6, 12, and 13. GATE 2022 Recruitment
The eligibility criteria are the key aspect to be noted down when you plan to apply for the test. The GATE 2022 is regarded as one of the most prestigious exams conducted by IIT Kharagpur. The GATE 2022 paper number has increased by 29 as it has added 2 more papers namely, Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering and Geometric Engineering. The IIT Kharagpur has decreased the number of exam centres to the main zones in the city. The number of candidates appearing for the exam is considerably high when compared to the previous years.
A candidate who wishes to apply for more than two papers is not expected to fill the two application forms. Instead, they are advised to fill in one application form which shall mention the number of papers to which the candidate is applying. If more than one application form from the same candidate is found, the second application form will be immediately rejected.
The application fee will not be refunded. The candidates should read the notification and general instructions before applying for the exam. The selection will be based on the highest scores secured by the candidates. The candidates should understand the syllabus and pattern of the exam before a
pplying for the test. Multiple sessions will be conducted for the papers licence, CS, EC, EE and ME. However, the candidates will be allowed to participate in only one chosen section. GATE 2022 Eligibility Criteria
IIT Kharagpur has announced the eligibility criteria for the proposed exam. The candidates should check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. If the candidates are unable to meet the proposed eligibility criteria will be immediately rejected from further consideration.
- Nationality
The candidate should be an Indian citizen. This doesn’t mean that those candidates belonging to other nationalities are restricted to apply for the exam. If they could meet the proposed condition and meet the eligibility requirements, they can also attend the exam.
- Age
To appear for the upcoming GATE 2022, there is no age limit. The candidates belonging to any age group can apply for the post. The number of candidates for the GATE 2022 is comparatively high this year. The candidates should expect a tight competition.
- Academic Qualification
Graduation is the basic qualification for the exam. Those candidates who are pursuing graduation or belonging to the final year can also apply. The Candidates be graduate or currently pursuing (a final year or pre-final year) in Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or Postgraduate (M.Sc.) degree in any science disciple can apply.

GATE 2022 Online Registration
IIT Kharagpur has issued the criteria for the registration. The application should be submitted via online mode. The online application portal is open. The candidates should register themselves by visiting the GATE 2022 official website. Create a user id and password. The candidates should enter their details and move on to the uploading of the relevant documents. The candidates can then remit the application fees. The candidates are asked to scan and upload the photograph and signature of fixed size. The application submission will be complete when you click on the submit button. Take a printout of the application form and save it for future use.
