Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test is the expansion of HTET, it’s a test conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education to recruit eligible candidates for the post of teachers in three different levels which are Elementary (PRT), Secondary (TGT) and Senior Secondary (PGT). How to Apply for HTET?
The application form for the examination is available in the official website. Given below are the few instructions to apply:
- The application form must be filled through online mode only.
- Go to the official website (www.bseh.org.in)
- Select ‘apply online’ option and start filling the application form.
- Fill the adequate details in the application form.
Note that an identification number and identification proof is mandatory for filling the application form. After filling the application form, one has to upload photographs, signature and thumb impression. Candidates are required to keep scanned images of all three while filling out the application form. Given below are the guidelines for uploading photograph, signature and thumb impression along with the application:
- Photograph size- 20kb to 50 kb
- Size of the signature- 10kb to 20 kb
- Size of the thumb impression- 10kb to 30kb
- Image dimension guidelines: the photograph shouldn’t exceed 3.5 cm(width)X 4.5cm (Height) only.
After the uploading of all the documents, the candidate is proceeded to make online fee payment. Once the process is over one will get a form which is to be printed for future use. Thus, HTET Recruitment 2020 Apply Online procedure will be completed

Eligibility Criteria to apply for HTET
Eligibility to apply for Level I (Elementary) PRT Teacher, Classes I-V
- Senior Secondary Examination passed with 50% Marks and Passed / Appearing 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education / B.Ed.
- Senior Secondary Examination passed with 45% Marks and Passed / Appearing 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education / B.Ed.
- Bachelor Degree in any stream, passed / appearing 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education / B.Ed.
Eligibility to apply for Level II(Secondary)TGT Teacher, Classes VI to VIII
- Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with 50% Marks along with 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Bachelor Degree with 50% Marks along with B.Ed. /Special B.Ed. Degree.
- Secondary Examination passed with 50% Marks and passes 4 Year BA B.Ed. / B. Com B.Ed. Degree.
Eligibility for Level III (Senior Secondary) PGT Teacher (IX-XII)
- Master Degree in allocated Subject with 50% Marks and B.Ed. Degree.

Examination Pattern for HTET 2020
There are three levels of examination conducted by the education board of Haryana the first level is for the selection of primary school teachers, the second one is for the secondary school teachers while the last one is for the senior secondary teachers. A candidate who is having the educational qualifications to apply for all three levels can apply for it. The exam pattern is same in all three levels only the difficulty levels are different.
The subjects that are involved for the examination are Languages (Hindi and English), General Studies, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Child Development and Pedagogy.
Level -1 Primary Teacher (Class I-V)
The HTET exam pattern for the primary teacher includes General Studies, Child Development and Pedagogy, Languages (Hindi and English), Environmental Studies, and Mathematics. Two and a half hours will be the total allotted time. There will be 150 questions for 150 marks. The detailed exam pattern of level 1 is given below:

Level -II Trained Graduate Teacher (Class VI-VIII)
The level II examination’s difficulty level is higher than that of the first one.
