Indian army has Published a notification for the recruitment of 60th Men Short Service Commission Technical (SSC Tech) and 31st Women Short Service Commission Technical (SSC Tech ) Officer on July 27, 2022. The course will commence in April 2023. Both unmarried men and women with engineering degrees are eligibile to apply for the course. Also, widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in harness can apply for Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2022. Selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission on probation in the rank of Lieutenant from the date of commencement of the course or the date of reporting at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Indian Army SSC Technical Recruitment 2022- Selection Process
The selection procedure will mostly consist of three phases.
- Shortlisting of Candidates
- SSB Interview
- Medical Examination
Indian Army SSC Technical Recruitment 2022- Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates with B.E/B.Tech Degree are eligible to apply.
- Those who are studying in the final year of the Engineering degree course can also apply.
Educational Qualification for Widows
- SSCW (Non Tech) (Non UPSC) – Graduation in any Discipline.
- SSCW (Tech) – B.E. / B. Tech in any Engineering stream.
Age Limit:
- For SSC(Tech) Men and SSCW (Tech ) Women – 20 to 27 years
- For widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only. SSCW (Non Tech) [Non UPSC] and SSCW(Tech)- A maximum of 35 years of age as on 01 Apr 2023.
Nationality
- A candidate must either be :- (i) A citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Nepal, or (iii) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii) and (iii) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will however not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, will attach such certificate alongwith the application.

Step 3: Click on the Registration Link
Step 4: Once you register, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard
Step 5: Read all the instructions carefully and fill out the Application Form
Step 6: Once you fill all the details on the last segment, you will move to “Preview Application”
Step 7: Check out the application in detail and click on the Submit Button
Step 8: Take a Print Out of application for future reference
