Indian Coast Guard recruitment notification is out for Navik & Yantrik positions. The online application process has begun on January 5 and will conclude on January 19. A total of 358 posts are to be filled through this year recruitment exam. Selected candidates for the post of Navik will have a basic pay of Rs 21,700 plus DA and other allowances, and for the post of Yantrik, the basic pay is Rs 47600 plus Rs 6200 worth DA and other allowances. Indian Coast Guard has published this year’s first recruitment notification for 358 posts across Yantrik & Nayak positions. If you have completed Senior secondary schooling (Plus Two) in science stream, then you can apply for these positions. To be selected for the posts, candidates will first have to pass an online exam followed by a physical fitness test and document verification. Yantrik
Yantrik candidates can apply for only one post either for Electronics or Electrical or Mechanical. The exam pattern is:
Section 1 is mandatory for all three categories. Section II, III & IV is optional based on candidates choice.

- You should enter your personal details as required in the registration page.
- While filling up your application, candidates should upload the following documents:

- Passport size recent colour photograph (taken not before November 2020). The photograph is to be taken with the candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest with his name and date of photo taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters.
- Scanned signature image.

- Date of Birth Certificate
- Photo Identity proof
- 10th class mark sheet

Application Fee
Candidates have to pay the examination fee of Rs. 250/- while registering for the online examination. The Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes are exempted from fee payment. The payment can be made by any one of the methods mentioned below:-
- Pay through Credit/Debit Card (Master/Visa/Maestro), Net banking: Candidate can pay online using any Credit/Debit Card (Master/Visa/Maestro). Additional charges are applicable for making payment through Net banking.
- Pay through Unified Payments Interface (UPI): Candidate can pay online using UPI by entering VPA.
