JEE Advanced 2022 Admit Card Releasing Date  

The admit card for JEE Advanced 2022 Exam will be released on 23rd August 2022. The JEE Advanced 2022 Exam is sheduled to be conducted on 28th August 2022 in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM while the second shift for JEE Advanced 2022 will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The JEE Advanced 2022 Results are expected to be announced by September 11, 2022.

JEE Advanced 2022 – Eligibility Criteria 

The Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2022 Exam is given below. Students who are interested can check their eligibility here.

• Candidates must rank among the top 2,50,000 scorers in the B.E./B.Tech. Paper of the JEE (Main) 2022 exam (across all categories). The percentages of the different candidate groups that will be shortlisted are as follows: 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is OPEN for all. There is a 5% horizontal reservation available for PwD candidates within each of these five categories.
• Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1997. Candidates who are SC, ST, or PwD are awarded a five-year age relaxation; hence, these candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1992.
• A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2021 or 2022 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates who had appeared in Class XII (or equivalent) examination, for the first time in 2020 or earlier, are NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2022, unless covered by the one-time special measure set out below.
• Candidates who have been admitted to a preparatory course in any of the IITs for the first time in 2021 can appear in JEE Advanced 2022.
• A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past. Candidates whose admission to IITs was cancelled (for whatever reason) after joining any IIT are also NOT eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2022.

JEE Advanced 2022 – Exam Pattern

JEE Advanced 2022 will be conducted on 228th August 2022 in 2 shifts. The JEE Advanced paper 1 will organise from 9 am to 12 noon, while paper 2 will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The total duration of JEE Advanced 2022 is 3 hours.
