NTA has released revised JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023 on 11 January 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) made significant revisions to the JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria on Tuesday, stating that students who rank in the top 20% of their respective board exams will also be eligible to obtain admission after passing the Engineering entrance exam. To be admitted to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Government Funded Technical Institutions, students had to have at least 75% in Class 12 and a JEE Main rank (GFTIs). For SC / ST candidates, the qualifying marks should be 65%. While the existing criteria of 75% board exam marks for JEE Main-based admissions remains unchanged, NTA has announced this additional criterion that will make students eligible for admission to IIITs, NITs, and other GFTIs. The application window for JEE Mains application window will close on 12th January 2023.
