Age Limit:
Candidates must be aged 20–40 years. Only those born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2005 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.

• Upper age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a Kerala University or equivalent.

   M.Sc.Ed in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks from a Regional Institute of Education sponsored by NCERT.
3. Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) conducted by the Government of Kerala or an authorized agency.

SET Exemptions:

• Candidates with NET/JRF, SLET, Ph.D, M.Phil, or M.Ed in the concerned subject
• Teachers with 10 years of approved High School teaching service in General Education Subordinate Service
