Below are the official instructions and conditions mentioned in the Kerala PSC Ranked List for the post of Scientific Officer (Biology) in the Kerala Police Service (Forensic Science Laboratory).
1. Validity of the Ranked List
- The Ranked List will remain valid until a new list is published, with a minimum duration of one year and a maximum of three years.
- Candidates will be advised for appointment based on the rules of reservation and rotation.
- Selection depends on the availability of vacancies, and inclusion in the list does not guarantee appointment.
- Candidates remaining in the list after its expiry will have no further claim for appointment.
2. Rechecking of Answer Scripts
- Revaluation is not allowed, but candidates can apply for rechecking.
- Apply through the One Time Registration profile on www.keralapsc.gov.in.
- Application fee: ₹85, paid through e-payment only.
- Apply within 15 days from the date of rank list publication (on or before 18.11.2025).
- Applications via email, post, or direct submission will not be accepted.
3. Request for Photocopy of OMR Answer Sheet
- Candidates can apply for a photocopy of their OMR answer sheets (Part A & B).
- Apply online through the PSC One Time Registration profile.
- Fee: ₹335 via e-payment mode.
- Apply within 15 days from publication (on or before 18.11.2025).
- Copies will be issued only once and invalid OMR sheets will not be provided.
4. Correction of Community Details
- Entries related to community or reservation category are based on the details given in the application.
- Candidates who notice errors must inform The Deputy Secretary (Examinations)-II, Kerala PSC, Thiruvananthapuram – 695004 within one month of publication.
- Failure to report within time may result in loss of reservation benefits.
5. Relinquishment of Appointment Claim
- Candidates wishing to withdraw their claim for appointment must submit an application in the prescribed format available on the PSC website.

A Gazetted Officer’s attestation with name, designation, and seal.

- The request must be submitted within 15 days from the publication of the rank list to be considered for current vacancies.
- Late applications will only be accepted if received before the relevant vacancy advice date.
6. Disposal of OMR Answer Sheets

Both Part A and Part B of OMR answer scripts will be destroyed after six months from the date of finalization of the Ranked List.
