Madras High Court has recently released a notification, Madras High Court Recruitment 2022 for 1412 Examiner, Driver and Other Posts. Eligible applicants can register through online mode before 22nd August, 2022, on their official website, mhc.tn.gov.in. 

The Madras High Court  is the second oldest High court of India after the Calcutta High Court in Kolkata. It is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu The court is one of the three High Courts in India established in the three Presidency Towns of Madras, Bombay and Calcutta by letters patent granted by Queen Victoria bearing date 26 June 1862. It exercises original jurisdiction over the city of Chennai and appellate jurisdiction over the entire state of Tamil Nadu and Union territory of Puducherry, as well as extraordinary original jurisdiction, civil and criminal, under the letters patent and special original jurisdiction for the issue of writs under the Constitution of India. The application submission process has begun from 14th March 2021. Educational Qualification

Age Limit 

• The Minimum Age limit required for all categories under Madras High Court Recruitment is 18 years.
• Maximum Age Limit for For Others/ Unreserved categories is 32 years.
• Maximum Age Limit for reserved categories (i.e. SC/ SC(A)/ ST/ MBC& DC/ BC/ BCM and Destitute Widows of all castes is 37 years.
• For Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities, Backward Classes (other than Backward Class Muslims) and Backward Classes (Muslims) is 34 years.

The selection of candidates will be based on

• Common written examination
• Practical test
• Oral test

Common written examination consists of 50 multiple choice questions

Practical Test

ORAL TEST (Maximum Marks:TEN) (Minimum qualifying marks:THREE) 

The object of Oral Test is to assess the suitability of the candidates to the post by judging their mental alertness, skills, attitude, ethics, character, etc. Note: No inference of eligibility or competency will automatically be drawn on the basis of experience certificate produced by the candidate.
